What Is Leadership Peel?

Succession planning for the community Leadership Peel is designed to help participants acquire both a fuller sense of the wide array of critical issues affecting our community and the leadership skills necessary to motivate and engage others in collaborative efforts to resolve them. The program is designed to prepare participants for the challenges of their own life-long leadership journeys, shows how to build skills, and develop an awareness for the rich opportunities for leadership in the community. It offers participants a challenging new experience, working in teams on projects dealing with real community issues.

 

Why Community Leadership?

We must develop a network of leaders, drawn from all segments, who accept some responsibility collaboratively on behalf of the community's shared concerns. I call them networks of responsibility, leaders of disparate or conflicting interests who undertake to act for the community and the nation.
